VistaWall

The VistaWall Stabilized Earth Wall (SEW) is a Mechanically Stabilized Earth (MSE) retaining wall system that utilizes precast concrete or welded wire facing panels and soil reinforcing consisting of wide welded wire mesh or discrete two‐wire welded wire called Grid‐StripTM soil reinforcing. Third‐party engineering companies have tested all components to verify their structural integrity. In addition, the system components and design methodology has undergone peer review by leading experts in MSE technology. The VistaWall system components and methods of manufacturing have United States Patents as well as US patents pending. Ground Improvement Systems, LLC (GIS) is a licensed distributor of the Vistawall (VAWS) Stabilized Earth Wall (SEW) technology.

GIS designs the VistaWall SEW using standard AASHTO MSE design methodology. The design methodology is consistent with the FHWA‐NHI Design and Construction of Mechanically Stabilized Earth Walls manual. The Highway Innovations, Developments, Enhancements and Advancements (IDEA) program have reviewed the VistaWall Grid‐Strip. The IDEA program provides a protocol for technical evaluation of earth retention systems that is administered by the Geo‐Institute of the ASCE (G‐I). The Grid‐ Strip over twenty State Department of Transportations have approved system.
